Progress has been made on our project The DC Chronicles in the month of June, so with these new developments I feel it is time for some reveals!
Working on Fallout 3 Machinima (or any game, for that matter) takes a lot of pre-meditation on scenes is needed before they are finally manifested both in-game, & also in the Fallout 3 building tool, the Geck.
It is a long process, and a lot of detail technical work is required to not only make a scene look good to eye, but also function for the scene. For example; navmeshing is required so that NPC characters can follow their orders for the scene.
And sometimes, we run into troubles.
Like things left floating in the air or popping in and out, or a tree stuck in a ramp 🙂
But in the end we make sure it looks fantastic for the movie 🙂
